poets still dream of being published
A good friend of mine is soaring on the news that his book of poetry has been published, and is now available for sale. I had notebooks upon notebooks laying around various places. One in the car, one in the bedroom, one in my locker... you name a place and there was notebook. I dreamed of publishing, than I began looking into self-publishing, then I let the dream falter. But seeing Joe's success, the dream has been rekindled (just a little).
It's been so long since I've written anything. It's been an incredibly long time since I've even read in public. I wonder if I could still do it, and how long it would take me to get back to being comfortable with it all...
